At Elkdale, we desire to provide a place for teenagers to be loved and accepted while being challenged by the Gospel. We use recreational time to enjoy God and His creation, and serious time to seek after God and grow our faith in Him.
We also strive to equip parents with the tools they need to lead their students to glorify Christ. After all, parents are the primary influence in their student's life.
Between our morning services, at 9:45 am, Sunday School is offered to people of all ages. 7th grade - 12th grade classes are held in the Youth Building.
This is a time for all grades to study God's Word. We strive to balance equipping students with a God-centered worldview and helping them see the practical application of putting God at the center of their lives.
We use The Gospel Project for Students, which is a Christ-centered Bible study resource that follows a chronological timeline of Bible events from pre-creation to eternity. Each week, the curriculum shows how each one of us fits into the narrative of God's plan.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY & WORSHIP
On Wednesday nights during the school year, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, Student Bible Study for grades 7 - 12 is held in the Youth Building. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to connect and form real relationships. After hanging out with each other, we worship and study together with the hopes of having changed lives.
