  • The 8:30 Traditional gathering is led by Micah Loggins (Minister of Music) with piano and organ. The music mostly consists of classic hymns and gospel songs of the Faith.
  • The 11:00 Contemporary gathering is led by Micah Loggins and the Elkdale Worship Band. The music mostly consists of modern praise songs.

In both gatherings, music is used to prepare our hearts and minds to hear the Word and to respond to that Word.

During the services we also give offerings to support God’s work at Elkdale and abroad. Communion is taken together around 4 times a year.

At every worship gathering the Word of God is preached. Our pastor, Brother Cory Hortongoes through passages and whole books of the Bible, verse by verse, to show you what the whole Bible teaches and how it relates to Jesus. Check out our sermons online and listen for yourself.

After his sermon, you will have an opportunity to respond by publicly making a decision to follow Christ, joining the church, praying at the altar, or just standing and singing in your pew.

Children's Church

Elkdale offers Children's Church during both morning services in the 4 year old Sunday School classroom. The children leave the sanctuary with Miss Kim when instructions are given during the worship time. This is a time for the children to meet with Miss Kim to study, listen, and learn more about God, His word, His love, and His son, Jesus.
